I have a 01 9-3 se I am having problems getting full boost after the car has been running for about 2 mins. I replaced the o2 sensor but the check engine light did not go off(it only went on this morning) I havnt had a chance to grab my code scanner and read the code. My question is would the check engine light go off by itself if it was the o2 sensor that set it off? or does it have to be cleared. and there isnt any improvement in the power. Is that also because of the code still being in the ecu. Will It not know there is a new sensor till the code is cleared?
thanks so much for the help saabnut and stephen
