Well, I have always wanted a sleeper like this; but I have really exceeded my goal. I wasn't planning to get this much power out of the car, it just sort of worked itself out that way. I had a modest stage 3 tune (250hp) and was happy with it, but I had gone through two stock turbochargers, and decided it was time for an upgrade. After doing a lot of research on turbochargers that work without modifications or a custom exhaust manifold, I decided Jak Stoll's upgrade was the best value for me. The hitch was that the turbo moves a lot more air, so the bigger injectors and stage 5 software are required in order to maintain the stoichiometric air:fuel ratio. Since I was basically purchasing a package deal, I had to bite the bullet and accept the power gains...which was difficult. Oddly, after doing the upgrades my fuel economy went from 19 to 25mpg in the city.
