Cracked Head Gasket.........

Well yesterday I went in for my transmission flush. I' noticed that my car was eatin up coolant. At first I thought maybe the previous owner just didn't top it off enough, but after using an entire bottle, I asked the mechanic if he might be able to take a look at it. Sure enough I've got a crack the head gasket. He quoted me the repairs being between 1500-1800 dollars. Luckily the previous owner just put in a new radiator. It should have been red flag to me though, especially since I have noticed the car having pretty horrible acceleration, which I just attributed to the crappy tranny fluid, and maybe some dirty fuel injectors. I guess I have bad luck with inheriting Saabs with radiator problems,(thinking back to my 900 w its coolant leaking to the tranny) but at least this time I'm gonna have the money for the repair within about three weeks. It'll prolong me from fixing my window but mechanics always come first.
On a lighter note after the transmission flush, a fuel injection cleaner, and a fill-up of premium gas, my 9-3 runs very smooth now, despite the slower then normal acceleration.
