If it's only the high beams that are failing, there's a good chance you have a bad Lamp Control relay. It's the big orange one in the fuse box in the engine compartment. Search here for info on how to possibly repair cracked solder joints, or just buy a new one and pop it in (but be careful with the clip that holds it in place).

You can also confirm it's the relay by swapping the bulbs side-to-side - you may be surprised to find that the bulb itself is fine.
