I replaced the front brakes on my '01 base model last summer using Brembo rotors and Axxis Deluxe Advanced pads. These are a ceramic blend that in my opinion provides good braking under everyday conditions as well as panic stops, and I've noticed very little dust on my wheels. I just took off my winter wheels (which I hadn't bothered washing) and the OEM rears were filthy compared to the fronts. Pedal feel has also been very good, although I changed my fluid at the same time as well.
The only thing I don't like about my new brake setup is that it seems more susceptible to moisture after sitting overnight in wet weather. I don't know if the pads are to blame for this, but they seem to get very grabby and noisy when wet - though everything's fine after a few stops to dry them out. I don't find it a big enough issue to be worried about it.
