Thanks for the replies. I do have the WIS, and I've opened up a few threads on this already. I'm just getting a little frustrated that I can't narrow down the problem on this AC. What I need is a real top down step by step type checklist as it's easy to go around in circles when trying to fix these AC problems.
The big problem is the charging always reading overcharged, unless the compressor is running and properly engagin. The other one is I can't find the wiring on the pressure switch in WIS. How can I bypass it? Also, how can I check on the expansion valve?
From what I can tell, it's the dash switch (both fan and pushbutton), fuse, relay, pressure switch ... all need to be working right and sensing proper pressure to get the AC to turn on? Is there something else I'm missing?
Is there any danger to the compressor to wiring it to the battery so long as the pressure on the low side seems to be leveling out OK?
