I have a low mileage '02 9-3 with 35,000 miles. My water pump lets a couple of drops now and then, so I'm getting ready to buy a water pump. In doing so, since the belt has to be removed, I'll replace that too, however, what about the pulleys? There's a tension pulley, and two idler pulleys, but are the two idler pulleys the same part number? The diagram in Europarts does not list the "center" idler pulley. The two idler pulleys are different part numbers for the 9-5's 2.3 litre motor. Does the tension pulley need to be replaced?

I have read here that the Wazee pulley is significantly better since its made of aluminum instead of plastic, but they only show one idler pulley. Any thoughts on this?

I thought that the 9-5 and 9-3 used the same block and only the stroke was lengthened for the 2.3 litre, so I would have thought that the belt and pulleys would be the same for both cars, but Europarts has different part numbers for the belts and idler pulley; only the tension pulley is the same for both applications....don't understand that one.
