A friend used module master for a domestic car and that turned out fine.
The problem can be consistency.
In the beginning when these Saab modules started to fail, I shipped mine to Auto truck electronics (ATE) and had good results until I recommended them to a friends shop and he had a bad experience. The very next one from me was a dud as well and it was hard to make them do good for their mistake.
After that I sent them to BBA but one BMW module came back non working from them as well.
So the problem is that the repair is not as straight forward as we are made to believe but here and there it might come up as bad one and you need to keep that in mind and prepare to get a used or a new one if the repair fails.
The car is drivable but I don't allow my customer to drive the car out of liability if I do the repair.
If you do it yourself, you can do whatever you feel like but don't demand a shop to do it your way.
