I have gotten pretty good at judging my speed lately since the module only seems to be out 60% of the time, but the GPS suggestion is a good one. I keep hearing about getting an ABS module from another car, but don't understand how to go about this and really don't know that I have the resources to seek this out (none of the indy shops I work with seems willing/able to go this route, suggesting that I go with a new unit from Saab).
At this point I just want to get the car fixed so that the dashboard does not look like a Xmas tree and I can sell it. As much as I like the idea of a convertible, I just do not have the time to be chasing problems like this every 3-6 months.
