I will shortly be taking delivery of my (new to me) 01 Viggen Vert. It is in mint condition with only 31k on the clock. It is stock, so what I will be doing is adding all of the GS suspension/frame/steering improvements. After I have driven it awhile, I will look at putting in the Forge diverter valve along with the GS short shifter and then maybe going to stage 2, but as this will be strictly a street car, maybe 230 hp is enough.
Maintenance-wise, I will check the DIC to see if it has been replaced, and clean the MAF. I understand the valve head bolts are the original from the factory, and that the VIN shows that this car is one that potentially could be under-torqued. Do I need to replace the bolts with the new version, or can they just be torques to the correct spec?
Any other suggestions from Viggen owners?
