I agree with 93Viggen on both counts.
I own a fairly modified Viggen coupe (Nordic Stage 4 and some suspension/chassis mods) and am considering adding a Viggen CV for summer use. The Viggen CV really show's it's flexy chassis so any suspension mods I'd do would be related to stiffening the body, such as the 6 point brace and the upper strut 'Squid' bar. I'd probably add the steering rack brace and clamp too. I would never go with poly bushings or stiffer shocks on the CV as I'd think they'd only amplify the chassis' weak points.
As for your 'to do' list, I'd flush and renew all fluids just so you really know what's in there and how old it is. I did this when I first got my Viggen. Use the best fluids you can that are within spec. I use Amsoil 5W-40 and Pentosin brake, cooling and power steering fluids. Consider a new MAF soon too. I myself do not rely on just cleaning even though I have a spare motor which I intend on building.
The Viggen CV is one of the best looking SAABs ever built IMO....congrats on the new baby!!!
