Thanks, Wayfarer.
Could I ask where you're located? I am currently in Providence, RI, though I spend a lot of time in Fairfield, CT too. I'd be interested in the bumper and the taillight... but would like to find a Scarab green quarter filler panel.
The metal part of the bumper is still there and seems to be fine. I'm not sure about the styrofoam so it's probably better to replace it. The bumper cover itself is gone... fell off the next time I drove the car and I was unable to retrieve it.
Also, just a general question which may not have been clear in my original post: if I decide to do the work, how do I know that there is not any further damage? Or should I perhaps just bring it in to get the quarter filler done and the car completely assessed, and do the rest of the work later? The trunk closes the same as it always has, I think.
I am trying to avoid a situation where I do the work myself and then find out there was some kind of hidden damage I didn't know about. In other words, I'd like a full assessment by someone who knows what they're doing, but don't necessarily want to pay them to do the whole job -- and don't want to rip them off, either. Thoughts?
Thanks,
Betsey
