This thread covers it:
http://saabnet.com/tsn/bb/NG900/index.html?bID=262342
There are other threads too.
Adam Barwyck (spelling probably wrong but his name and number are in the above thread) has the bearing, and the full clutch assembly if you need that. He also has some instructions you may find helpful. Good guy.
The long and short of it is that you remove the front passenger wheel, all the fender lining, and the airbox, in order to access the AC pulley. You will need a split ring plier to remove the clutch plate (unless you have both the patience of Job and the dexterity of a 12y old texter). You may or may not need a gear or pulley puller to remove the pulley from the AC compressor shaft. I did, but others have been able to remove the pulley manually or by prying (be careful).
With the pulley removed, press out the bearing, and press in the new. Then, as they say, installation is the reverse of disassembly.
I replaced the pulley bearing in my '01 a few weeks ago, using a bearing from Adam. My local mechanic, who I generally trust and does good work, quoted $1400 to put in new compressor... the bearing cost me $40 including shipping.
In your case, since the AC was intermittitent, you may need a new clutch.
