Really, you will have to go drive it to find out. 150hp is not enough for some people, and more than adequate for others. Sometimes a 'weak' engine can feel strong. Personally, I cant say about the NA 2.3 because I havent driven one.
If it isnt enough, then keep an eye out for a clean 185hp or 200hp turbo. I just picked up a 99 coupe with 53k miles (no I didnt forget a 1, it is really 53k) for $3900 (185hp, 5spd).
