I have a 2002 9/3 that has suffered a power loss. At 1/2 throttle power is fine but at full throttle the power is down considerably.
Car has less than 80K miles and runs fine other than power loss.
There is a light whistling noise under hard acceleration that was not evident before the power loss.
This car has the 200+ 4 cyl 2L engine and a 5 speed transmission and it acts like the turbo bypass valve is opening before full boost is reached.
Anyone have any suggestions?
