Brakes were flushed over a year ago, so I don't think that there is air in the system, unless somehow some got in. The level is fine, checked today.
There isn't any slipping (that I'm aware of), but there is definitely vibration when I let the clutch out in first and reverse.
When I drove it again today, I didn't have any more issues with the pedal, but I can definitely hear a noise that shouldn't be there. The noise occurs with the clutch in, car moving, when I try to put it into a lower gear than it should be in. So, if I'm going around 15-20 mph with the clutch in, I'll hear the slight grind if I try to nudge the shifter into first. If I'm going around 30, the noise will occur if I try to put it in 1st or 2nd. Since the clutch is in, I'm thinking that it's not engaging properly. But I'm not sure if the cause would be a bad slave or a bad clutch, since I've never dealt with either before.
If it is the slave and the tranny has to come out, is this a good time to do a clutch job too?
