I wish I could have pulled the code, but I don't have a tech2. It was *not* in limp home mode. Driving was [apparently] not impaired, and they put about 100 freeway miles on it with the light on.

I suspect the fluid aerated and caused some sort of erratic shift which upset the ECU. My dad indicated the light came on after a short, steep downhill grade, so it's possible the dramatic overfill got fluid where it wasn't supposed to be in the first place and that triggered the light.

Do you know if the codes are stored? If we got it to a dealer now, with the light off, would they still be able to pull it? It might be worth it just to know. Or, maybe now is the time I pony up the dough for a tech2... :D
