I am expecting my 1995 900 SE that I had put over $8400 in parts into will be written off. Adjuster says that maintenance is expected of owners, so my expenditures are not really taken into consideration. >:-(

(I guess I am too meticulous with my maintenance) Real shame, as the car drove like new and I loved driving it! (My new sportcombi handles very differently!)

So I'm waiting to see what they will offer me (less deductables). I'm wondering if there is any interest in the parts I put on to anyone here? (i.e. should I buy back the car and advertise the parts here?) What is a reasonable amount to buy back the car from the insurance company?
(Reason I wouldn't keep the parts is that I've already done this work to my wife's car too).

Parts (all installed about 3 years ago) would include:
GS urethane engine mount
OEM rear engine mount
front struts and springs
strut mounts
tierods and ends
all powersteering hoses
upgraded powersteering pump
GS urethane stanchion/control arms
rubber intercooler elbows
wazee pulley
clutch kit
original axles with new boots
OEM waterpump and backend part
coolant resevoir
upgraded shifting linkage
hydraulic clutch upgrade
DIC (keep for wife's car)
SaabStuff custom leather set. Complete Front/Back and head rests (all seats done- except drivers side... still virgin and not installed)
Not replaced but probably still good:
cylinder head (no reason to suspect it is warped or cracked)
Turbo
original tranny with MTL redline. Shifts no problem.

If anyone has any ideas, that would be great. I'm not sure if it would be worth buying back the car.
I would probably let all the parts go for half the original prices. If there is enough interest, then I'll post an Ad here. (please note: I'm in Calgary Canada (north of Montana if you weren't aware)).
