Viggen Aero - that's exactly what I ended up doing - used a 16 inch long pair of 90 degree angled pliers - came off first try. Getting it back on was a bit trickier as to your point it kept slipping off the pliers - very glad I had my safety glasses on. Took one shot to to the face! I had a fairly difficult time getting the orange seal re-set. Ended up taking a small can of wood stain that was nearly the exact size of the seal, placing the entire thing on my work bench and then putting a piece of wood over the can pounding it in. That seemed to get it set to the correct depth...
