Jeremy: Thanks for the tip on where to stick the screw. I'll do it in the morning. As for the remaining electrical connector, it probably is the connector for the headlight levelers assembled into a wiring harness used for more than one SAAB model.
Frankly, I had more "fun" disconnecting electrical connectors which had probably not be disengaged since the car was assembled in '97. The reast of the 6-hour challenge surrounding switching out the radiator was a real zen experience since my SAAB is a turbo and the front end had to be removed to kick off the process.
