Thanks John, the 99 is a 4 door se and you are correct that the 98 vert has a non functioning top.the 98 is such abeautiful car that i have been toying with the idea of trying to get the top functioning and it would need a new windshield. that said the vert posts are discouraging at best, the top is stopped about an inch from the tonneau where it should hook in and there are no error messages on the sid. when the switch is hit the the windows lower a little but no sound or indication that the top is moving at all. the previous owner said he changed the tonneau motor pretty recently, the maintainance on this car has been good and i think i would love to save it. I am looking for an inexpensive guy with a tech 2 now to check the top out. is there a schematic anywhere for the top system that i could refer to? not sure which direction i am going on this yet Thanks John, Thanks Anders
