You can physically swap the throttle body, that's not an issue. Or you could purchase a rebuilt from BBA and use that. Many folks (and you can read a hundred posts on the subject if you want) go for the reprogramming first. It seems that the parameters (limits) are set kind of tight and the reprogramming changes that and some TB's will still run. Other folks say that you should just replace the TB. Still others insist on a new TB *and* the reprogramming.
Bottom line: you can swap it and try if it's the same part #.
