Thanks for the advice, I'm going to try plugging the hose with a golf tee as I read here to see if the valve itself is bad, I didn't hear any clicking inside the car from the valve but I don't want to rule anything out prematurly. I'd like to think this valve is causing the CEL and extended crank time, but we will see.
Thinking about Deans old post, it makes sense that just vac leaks wouldnt lean out the T5 system, with the MAP sensor getting its info right at the throttle body, no real room for unmetered air to enter the system unlike other setups with an AMM right after the filter.
