A number of posts here on the topic of struts/shocks. I am not a mechanic, so need some help. After reading some posts here, I understand that the strut mount bushings in earlier versions of the NG Saabs were prone to crack and then get loose and rattle. I want to replace them whith the new shocks, because the of the advise i got on this site (same labor, might as well update the shocks). However, I was wondering if there is an aftermarket product for the bushing. If not, has Saab improved this part with later models, and will the improved part work in my 94 900S. It will cost me $120 for each new KYB strut and $90! for the bushing from Saab, plus $120 in labor for each side. $90 seems a little rediculous. Any thoughts would be appreciated, Thanks
