For the first 30 minutes or so of driving my heater (manual controls)works normally. Warms up pretty quickly, makes great heat. Temp gauge goes up to 9:00 position and stays there. After approx 30 minutes the heat goes away. Temp gauge stays the same at 9:00. When I check under the hood with the engine running I note that the top radiator hose is warm, but not hot, while the heater hoses are hot enough that I can't hold on to them. There is also a lot of coolant turbulance in the expansion tank. I recently replaced the heater hoses; had them crossed at first, then corrected that (hose at end of head to the heater nipple on the passenger (right) side of the car), and I replaced the expansion tank cap.
What is going on here???
