'99 Convertibe toneau cover stuck/detached
Posted by Tim (more from Tim) on Sun, 4 Dec 2011 14:06:39
My '99 9-3 convertible toneau cover got caught on my kid's bike sitting in the back seat. Now it seems to be stuck or detached from the hydraulic mechanism, and not moving all the way back when opening or closing. The result is that now I can not close the top fully while at the same time can not open the trunk (trunk lid getting caught under the lip of toneau cover). If I try to open the top, the toneau cover wouldn't open all the way and therefore getting in the way of top being lowed.
Any hint where the microswitches are and what I need to re-attach? Thank you in advance.
