It "might" work but it is a chance that the system senses that it's opening incorrectly and sets off a check engine light depending on what year/model car.
That's the Bosch number that was used in all C900/9000 back in the days and Saab has superseded all older ones to the new style (110) which uses a different spring tension and a counterweight inside to minimize hooting noises.
The old 900/9000 were "dumb" cars as far as emission restrictions and capabilities to set of check engine lights.
From 99/2000 9-3 it is more fault codes available and some are for the turbo bypass system so it might turn on the light. Or you might get some hooting noises from it.
Can't say for sure though.
