Great idea.
I will try to run a continuity/resistance test from the IAC plug to hopefully a junction at the main wiring harness to confirm that the wiring to the IAC is good.
Update: Lately, when I start the car with the IAC connected, the idle starts at 3000rpm (not to blow the engine, I try this only after the engine is warmed, with the IAC wired), then creeps down to a good idle. Problem is, when I open and release the throttle, the idle wildly swings from 2000 to 3000 rpm and won't come down until I disconnect the wiring to the IAC.
Any other ideas as well are also welcome, so that I may maximize my time under the hood in in these ungodly temperatures.
Thanks John.
George
