the best thing in removing the SID, is if you can get behind it and push on it gently to pop it out. First take out the small change box by tilting it up and remove it. Then push out the ACC from behind with your fingers. Next remove the radio, you need to have something you can insert and push inside the four holes in the radio. I use landscape fabric staples, they are curved just right. once the radio is out you can push out the SID. it sounds like a lot of work but it isn't hard at all. good luck!
