If you could take a picture of the camshaft marks it would be easier for us to see when the crank pulley is lined up.
I don't know if I have ever seen a chain jump without having some major malfunction of the tensioner.
Also make sure that the crank pulley have not loosen up like the old 900 did so that your outer mark on pulley is not in line with crank TDC anymore.
I bet you are mistaking the crank and cam marks like 95% of all mechanics not familiar with Saab's and that they are always a tad out of line.
