Have not driven the car much the past two weeks. I was hoping to confirm that it is indeed the abs control module before sending out. Local shop (not a Saab dealership) reads codes for free, but up until yesterday the lights weren't on long enough to have the codes read. Mechanic gets computer failure code of some sort, and is having trouble finding any info on it. Today, pulling out of a gas station at slow speed, car begins to idle extremely low and rough (500 or so) and nearly shuts off several times. Almost like it's not getting enough power. CEL comes on along with the usual abs/tcs/!/ etc. Wait and restart in 5 min. increments - finally all lights go off except CEL.
As soon as the other lights disappear the extremely low/rough idling is much improved, and I get the car home safely. Seems to have slight loss of power and slightly low idle still (with cel on) but I'm not sure it's in limp home mode. Not sure now what to do - could it be something other than abs module failure? Something to do w/ TB or fuel lines?
I've replaced the vacuum hose recently, so that shouldn't be an issue.
