I have been reading the posts with regard to stalling after stopping. Most of the suggestions point to the Evap Purge Valve and/or vacuum leaks associated with it.
The suggested test is to clamp off the line to the throttle body- and if the stalling goes away, then you know that it is the valve or the line.
My question is - if this works - why not leave it clamped off permanently and forget buying a new valve ?
