This is a long shot, but I've completely lost 3rd gear in my '99 9-3 with 175k after rebuilding the valve body at 145k. Anyhow, the car drives perfectly fine in first and second gear, then just free revs in third (inevitably throwing a CEL/CGB: "Incorrect gear ratio"). I can remember back on my old Camry, when I was having trans problems, I was able to unplug one of the electrical harnesses that connect the transmission to the ECU and then it became a fully "manual" automatic (1st, 2nd, 3rd, then Drive=4th). Is there a possible way to override the automatic shifting on a T5 9-3? I can't really drive over 35-40mph without anything but 1st and 2nd :p.
Thanks in advance!
