At that mileage, and if you like the car, a cash infusion is almost always better than buying something else, unless you know of a really great replacement.
Clutches can go a long way, depending of course on how you treat them. On my 9K the original went 183K. Would have gone longer if my daughter hadn't been driving it. Just do the whole thing when you do it.
As others note, the cruise control is most likely the switch. I just replaced one. Go to a bone yard and pay $5 or get a new one from eEuro for $25 or so. Takes a couple mins to change.
A Viggen is a nice Saab. Keep it and enjoy unless you really have the jones for something else.
