How are your lower control arm bushing? if they are original equipment they will be suspect.
Something to consider (speculation at this point): the OEM lower control arm bushings are filled with a hydraulic fluid. The design theory is that the fluid filler type bushing will allow for a more adaptive vibration-dampening effect and help isolate imbalances in the wheel and tires AWAY from the handling/steering dynamic.
...SO, as the bushings age from stress & wear the rubber and hydraulic fluid becomes less effective. =Adversely effecting tire wear and vehicle handling performance.
Conditions that allow for adverse tire wear will cause "hot spots" on the tire tread and could potentially cause an imbalanced effect to vehicle handling performance after extend driving (hot track/roads also playing a factor in the process here)...see where i'm heading with this?
