Hi all, 'I have been fighting a shaking/shaky steering wheel for a long time now. I need help on this please. Here is what i did and know;vehicle is a 1997 SET.Current wheels and tires are Viggen wheels and Potenzas Re 760 Sports. All wheels are believed to be straight. Had them re-balanced at several different places. This set up ran fine for a long time until the tires got worn. All city driving is f ine. Once on the highway, the general pattern is everything is "ok" until we get some heat in the tires . My guess 10 -20 miles of highway use. After this, most of the time i get a shaky steering wheel and vibrations in front end; normally can be felt in floor.I picked up a set of 07 9-5 wheels with good used Pirelli P6 plus 4 tires.Took a small trip yesterday, including on the highway, and the car felt 99% fine.Today, and warmer in temps, i took the same trip. The first 1/2 of trip was 99% fine and the 2nd half of trip, back came the shakey wheel and vibrations, and some feeling in floor. Not as bad as with the Bridgestones, but still bad! Most of this comes with acceleration and goes away at speeds above 75-80+.I am fairly certain, ball joints, tie rod ends, axles are good. The differential bushing was also replaced about 20 k miles ago. To me, somehow "heat" is playing a role here.I am going for a new set of tires in the near future, but i am stumped here. Would love to hear any input you have. Thanks in advance!..Ps..Also, both wheel bearings have been replaced; running Koni inserts up front
