Everything is done from the top. It has the same tensioner as the 9-5. You may want to pull the passenger wheel and liner the first time. I've done it many times without removing. Also, service those pulleys. I don't replace mine. I remove them, open them up, clean them out with degreaser and re-grease, press the seal back on and re-install. I do this every 15K. I've never had one fail
