All 2000-2002 9-3 models were susceptible to the sludge issue if not properly maintained. If you have no sludge and the car was well cared for, those engines can go 200,000+ miles easily.
If you are serious about buying the car, it is worth it to first make sure it has already had the PCV 6 fix done and then also have a mechanic drop the oil pan to look for signs of sludge. If it check out OK, you can have a lot more peace of mind.
