I can't remember for sure when I bought this current DIC (maybe 3-4 years ago). I will have to dig out some old receipts. I kept the old DIC (which had not failed yet) as a spare so I have some backup while I see if new plugs help. I don't use Techron all the time, but I put some in periodically. I run mid-grade fuel most of the time, but run premium sometimes.
I was going to pick up some NGK BCPR7ES plugs at the local parts store, but their web site said core was "nickel". I thought the BCPR6ES and BCPR7ES are supposed to be copper core. Are there two kinds out there? I know I have got the copper core ones from eEuroparts.com before, but the local price was only about $0.30 more per plug...if they are the right ones.
