Hello, Saabnet! I previously owned a 2001 9-5 from 2002-2005. Fun car, probably my favorite car to date, but it was a reliability *nightmare*.

Fast forward almost 10 years, I am grateful to have just purchased my first brand new vehicle, a BMW X3 M Sport. I'm now looking for an inexpensive but "fun" 2nd vehicle that I can throw a lawn mower in the back of, or go to Home Depot and not feel bad about getting it a dirty, or park it at the airport for a week and not worry about it.

I have found a very well kept 1997 900 SE turbo 5-speed that I am considering. It has 116,000 miles and is in great shape, listed for just under $3,000 (which seems high?) ...

I just pulled a CarFax maintenance history report and was very surprised about what I found (see below).

Would you be concerned that this vehicle has been in the dealership TOO much?? It seems that it didn't ever make it 5,000 miles without visiting Gebhardt SAAB. This is the only history that comes with the car as it is at a used car lot with no service paperwork what-so-ever.

I look at this 2 ways; either this vehicle is a garage queen and has been nothing but trouble, OR it had a very particular owner that wanted to keep it perfect.

I would love to hear your thoughts/opinions, and if you would buy this vehicle based upon the information below.
