Our "newest" SAAB is a 9.3 2.0L I4 MY 2000.

Even with about 24 hours with the car, exploring the Owners Manual and the '00 9.3 WIS, and searching on this board, I have a few basic "new owner" questions.

1.PO used and recommends 87 octane fuel. It seems to run well on it, OK?
2.ANSWER FOUND. Hydraulic oil in convertible top pump is visible in sight window but below MIN line. Top is up. OK or fill to top MAX line?
3. PROBLEM SOLVED. Which direction does the "unlocking" lever on DS of rear seat back move to unlock the seat prior to lowering the back?
It does not move at all presently and I don't want to break something. The manual says something about the ignition key being inserted or on? ? ?
4. Car came from a state with only rear license plates. Now it's registered in California. Front bumper (plastic cover,really) has two horizontal slits apparently for mounting wide-rectangular European license plates. Back-side access does not look promising. I need to mount new plate as well as the substantial mounting bracket. Any ideas?
5. It came with only one original key. What's the current situation on getting a completely new (second) key matched with this car?

I'll post photo of this lovely SAAB soon.
