My 01'SEHOT 5-door has been fairly good since new with currently 205K miles. Probably the most important thing to look at is if it has been serviced for Sludge which was a recall along with DIA cassette. If you get it, drop the oil pan and look for sludge build up on the oil take-up screen. If it is OK, clean it while the pan is off. I have had this done 2x's by Saab. I also had to rebuild the ABS Mod. which isn't very expensive by ABAReman. My Fuel Pump has been replaced twice and currently keep a new at home. I just replaced all of the lower control arms 6 months ago. The good part is that i still have the original Throttle Body and Turbo charger. Good Luck.
