We'll assume that it runs and drives OK (you have or will take it for a good test drive, right?). You'll know pretty quickly if there's an issue with the turbo, brakes and suspension.
The most expensive gotcha is the top. Open it part way and have a look at the hydraulics. Check for leaks around the pistons and hoses. Also check the overall condition of the outer fabric.
If the IDC and CPS were replaced recently, good. If they're original, budget a few $100s for those.
Check for oil leaks around the belt-end of the engine. Those could be from the oil line banjo joints (just needs O-rings) or from the oil pump (a bigger job).
DISCLOSURE: I picked up a 00 9-3 vert with about 130k on it a month ago for cheap. I've replaced the CPS (hot start issue...probably why the car was dumped so cheap), got the SID repaired and replaced the factory-original shocks, struts, tie-rod ends and brake rotors. The ignition cart had been recently replaced. It's now a pretty nice daily driver.
