I just got my 2001 9-3 SE running again after many years.. car is running beautifully, so now I'm fixing up some cosmetic things that have been problematic for so long I barely remember the days when everything was clean & new -

* Swapped in a completely working SID -- I don't remember the last time I had a full screen of pixels, but it was probably about 2003.
* Replaced a horribly sun damaged turn signal stalk
* installed an aux input from saabaux.com -- awesome! I would have given my right arm for this thing back in 2001, before I did a whole bunch of cross country roadtrips using a crappy FM adapter with my iPod!
* Resuscitated the leather on my steering wheel, which was horribly cracked and sun bleached.. I'm amazed it looks and feels as well as it does right now, I thought I was going to have to find a replacement

Up next -
* Hood emblem (already have a new one from eEuro)
* Replace or reupholster front seats

TBD:
* Heated seat retrofit possibly (have some questions on that - will start another thread)
* Replace or re-affix rear spoiler (its flapping around and making tons of noise on the passenger side)

I may also try to whip up some sort of USB audio interface to use in conjunction with the saabaux unit -- I'd love to have a USB port that I can plug into for audio & power.
