I had an intermittent engine light problem. The codes were to replace the ignition module. the thermostat and coolant temp sensor also are indicated. I'm doing the module first, and got the module and spark plugs from SaabParts.
This looks like a fairly simple procedure even though I don't do much of my own work. I want to make sur I do it right. So my questions:
Does the plug to the module just pull or pry off easily, or is there a clip to remove first?
Is a torque wrench required for the spark plugs? The box says put them in hand tight and then 1/2 to 3/4 turn with the wrench. Is that OK?
The plugs included with my order are NGK pfr6h-10. My manual recommends 7h-10. Are the 6h-10s OK?
Is any kind of grease or lubricant required anywhere?
Thank you for any answers.
