It's fixed. Once John helped me with how to undo the connector, the job was a snap. Or it would have been, had the last guy in there not been an idiot. Some notes:
1. The sensor wire was damaged because the ape who was last in there didn't re-hang it correctly and it sagged onto the half-shaft and got caught under the shock mount, scraping off the wire cover and shorting the wires.
2. Whoever was in it before that failed to use anti-seize on the sensor fastening screw. It was not only stuck, the top half of the screw was broken off. Hence I had to buy a new bracket.
3. Whoever had the bracket off (I suspect guy in #1) didn't bother pushing the plastic post out of its hole, but twisted the whole thing off. Had to remove the rotor and shield to get at the hole and punch out the broken bracket post.
Now, no warning lights, no CEL codes, no stalling, and I know the job has been done right. Back to SAAB happiness.
