Update, Heater Hose was the problem Posted by MarcD [Email] (#835) [Profile/Gallery] (more from MarcD) on Tue, 1 Mar 2016 07:16:13 In Reply to: Re: Dramatic but not...coolant loss question, IndySaaber [Profile/Gallery] , Mon, 29 Feb 2016 09:54:30 Members do not see ads below this line. - Help Keep This Site Online - Signup |
Well, a little warmer temp outside, a bit of daylight and the problem was clear. The heater hose had a very small hole right at the bend where is goes attaches the head. It was spraying up and bouncing off the undersid of the hood, soaking everything. Had great luck and was able to get the hoses and found a shop blocks away to install, all by 1pm:). I've been wanting to try the shop for a bit now as it is always good to have a helping hand close by when you don't have time to do it yourself or drive 1.5 hours to your indy of 20 plus years.
Thanks for the help IndySaaber!
