But as others have said, just get a new one and don't try to make it better. There's a good chance by adding more grease you're not making it better and that the additional grease will squeeze out of the seal, causing the seal to fail. A leaking seal is worse than the amount of grease! Ask those who've repacked theirs how well they've stood the test of time.
