Indeed the belt would be a different issue. The description talked about the ABS-module side, opposite the belt.
But now having reread the post, I see he specifically mentions "green CHF 202 oil" which appears to be a synthetic version. I have been using a green synthetic power steering fluid to preserve my rubber hoses for at least three years. I have not noticed any unusual affects on vacuum/coolant/piping rubbers.
