yes they did design the mechanism (ASC ) I will call to find the right place I spoke w/ and talk to the local upholstery shop who installs them.
there are several good places that offer tops they garanteee a great fit and you can ( and should ) IMHO get the original german fabric !
Most suggest you re-use the old window which works fine usually. The local Saab god said the upholstery guy installs the top and the glass guy would then install the window. the tops w/ original german material are around 500-600 $
many guys in Australia say it's a 2-3 beer saturday job w/a friend to help ! not that hard really !
